Body Craft Therapeutics is a Therapeutic Massage & Skin Care Clinic, in a casual and friendly setting, where you are the complete focus of attention.

Body Craft Therapeutics is located in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island B.C.

Return to Work Protocols

We look forward to welcoming our amazing customers back to the office and appreciate your continued patience as we prepare for you.
In the coming weeks our Therapists will be in touch with you to re-book.
In order for us to stagger our appointments in respect of social distancing, your usual start times may be a little different.
Please note that our RMT‘s will also have staggered return to work dates due to each of our individual circumstances.

Our Regulatory Boards have worked hard to come up with a list of Protocols for all RMTs & Aestheticians to get back to work safely.
We are obliged to follow these protocols until the foreseeable future.

They include the following:

We ask that you wait in your car until or wait outside the door until we signal to you to come in for your appointment.
If you have a cell phone we can call or text you.
We can not accommodate loved ones waiting in the reception room please arrange your appointment that only you are coming into the clinic.
We ask that you arrive only a couple of minutes before so we can ensure social distancing in the reception.
This will ensure we complete our proper cleaning protocols and that we will be ready to start your appointment.

You will be provided with a mask upon your arrival.
Other PPE such as eye protection and disposable gloves will be available upon request.
Likewise, your therapist will don a fresh mask for your arrival.

We ask that you wash your hands or use the hand sanitizer provided upon arrival for your
appointment.

Please bring your own water, if possible, as we will not have our tea and water station.
We will of course be happy to provide you will a cup of water upon request.

You will be required to sign a health screening questionnaire/consent form for every appointment via email the day before your appointment.
This questionnaire will be reviewed & confirmed upon arrival before you’re appointment starts.
Our Therapists will complete this same health screening questionnaire at the start of each work day.
We feel that this the most essential measure in protecting you, the customer, and us, the Therapists.

We will all need to practice honest communication.
You will not be charged for same day cancellations should you find your self or a family member is sick in any way.
We also ask that you have the same understanding should your therapist need to cancel.
It is crucial for all of us that we listen to our bodies.
We do not want anyone coming in feeling unwell, client or therapist.

If you are experiencing any symptoms of
COVID –19, including fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, or the loss of sense of smell, please stay home and contact 8-1-1.

Please confirm the washroom facility is cleared for you to use and that the hallway is clear of traffic as we need to keep social distancing in place outside the treatment rooms.

Retail- Please call to arrange a curbside product pick up time the door will not be open for walk ins.
We have removed all testers and will be happy to do product consultations behind our
glass barrier at the front desk.
The retail shelves are stocked with product and you are allowed to get the product if you know which one you want, otherwise we ask that you please not touch the products.

All Future Appointments will be made directly with your therapist via email or phone.
This will reduce traffic at the desk and ensure we have the time to clean after every treatment.

Any home care protocols from your therapist will be shown to you in your treatment room.

We ask that once your service or product has been paid we finish up timely.
If you have arrived late for your appointment we will not be able to extend the treatment time as may have been done previously.

We are committed to keeping the office as clean as possible, for our own health, and for yours.
As per our required guidelines we will be constantly cleaning the reception area, bathrooms, treatment rooms, door handles and all frequently touched surfaces with professional grade cleaners approved by health Canada to kill viruses.

These measures are designed to keep the risk of transmission as low as possible, while still providing excellent care.
That said, due to the nature of of our work we can’t eliminate all risk.

If you’re uncomfortable with any of these measures, we encourage you to reach out to us and let us know how we might better serve you.
We will also completely understand if you are more comfortable waiting to resume your
treatments until the risks of COVID-19 have diminished further.
We’ll be here for you whenever you are ready!

The Importance of Sunscreen

We cannot exaggerate how important Daily SPF is!

Living in our part of the world we can easily negate that we need SPF all year long!
Skin Cancer rates are very real and not a rare occurrence, right here in our corner of the world.
Both UVA and UVB rays play a key role in accelerating the visible signs of aging, including the development of fine lines and wrinkles, sagging skin and pesky dark spots. Skipping sunscreen not only contributes to premature aging but also puts you at a dramatically higher risk of developing skin cancer.

Top dermatologists recommend sunscreen as the most important element of any skin care routine. In addition to SPF protection, they advise staying out of the sun during its peak hours (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.) and wearing hats, sunglasses and clothing that protect you from the sun’s harmful rays. RMT Price Changes

Our RMT prices will be adjusting up effective July 01, 2021
Our last price increase occurred in Spring 2019

We assessed as a team at great length & have agreed on the following new adjustments:
30min- $62.00 plus GST $65.10
45min- $90 plus GST $94.50
60min- $115.50 plus GST $121.28
90min- $175 plus GST $183.75
